AI Era: Strategies for Cultivating Scientific and Technological Talents

The world 20 years from now is full of uncertainties. In such an era, the importance of knowledge itself will gradually decline. Instead, the ability to acquire knowledge, apply knowledge, identify problems, analyze problems, solve problems, and possess innovative thinking will be the core competencies needed for the future.

STEM Education: Education for the Future

In the 2022-2025 academic year, out of 45 national competitions on the primary and secondary school whitelist, 23 fall under the category of "Natural Science Literacy."

    01

Provinces and cities across the country are gradually introducing comprehensive quality evaluation and enrollment policies, with "innovative spirit and practical ability" listed as one of the criteria.

    02

In June 2021, the "National Scientific Literacy Action Plan (2021-2035)" was issued.

    04

Science and Technology Specialized Students have been formally defined, and various regions have issued corresponding enrollment guidelines.

    03
Teaching for Understanding; Learning for Innovation
Education is not just about imparting knowledge, but helping students understand and grasp the principles and ideas behind the knowledge, thereby cultivating their innovative and independent thinking abilities.
    Teaching for Understanding
Emphasizes students achieving "understanding" of knowledge through active exploration, hands-on practice, collaborative sharing, and other new learning methods to understand the world and the laws of development.
    Learning for Innovation
Focuses on applying knowledge and integrating personal thinking and creativity. In the process of practice, we emphasize child-centered learning, with teachers playing an inspiring and guiding role, encouraging children to follow their own ideas.
