On April 30, 2026, the grand event in the global youth robotics field — the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship — officially concluded successfully in the United States.
As a world-renowned STEAM education brand, STEMSTAR teams achieved another historic breakthrough in this competition. They claimed 3 Global Championships, 2 Third Overall Places, 6 Division Championships, 5 Division Runner-ups, 3 Division Third Places and 5 Special Awards, sweeping a total of 24 prestigious awards at the World Championship.

It not only swept both VEX IQ overall championships in the middle school division and the VEX IQ overall championship in the primary school division, but also participated in all perfect-score rounds throughout the event. Closing with a flawless full score in the final competition, STEMSTAR demonstrated benchmark dominance in the global science and technology education sector with overwhelming strength.


Hosted officially by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (REC), the VEX Robotics World Championship is the world’s largest, highest-standard and most widely participated youth robotics competition. Officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest robotics competition, it is hailed as the "Olympics of Youth Robotics" and universally acknowledged as a proving ground for young people’s scientific and innovative capabilities worldwide.
As a benchmark competition in the global STEAM education industry, the VEX World Championship boasts extraordinary international recognition and professional authority. Its competition results are officially accredited by over 500 universities across the globe. Top-tier institutions including MIT, Stanford University, the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge regard VEX competition achievements as a key reference for selecting students with science and innovation talents and granting scholarships, serving as a powerful academic and innovation endorsement for teenagers pursuing further education worldwide.
At this year’s World Championship featuring elite competitors from across the globe, STEMSTAR teams delivered outstanding performances across all competition tracks and age groups, setting a historic record for Chinese educational institutions participating in the VEX World Championship and securing a top-tier comprehensive strength among all Chinese participating organizations.
In the competition for core honors, three STEMSTAR teams — 3287A, 9296A and 98016B — claimed 3 Global Championships in the VEX IQ division. They swept both VEX IQ Championships of the middle school group and secured the VEX IQ Championship of the primary school group. (There were 2 overall championships in the middle school VEX IQ division, both claimed by STEMSTAR; there were also 2 overall championships in the primary school VEX IQ division, with STEMSTAR winning one.)
STEMSTAR became the only participating organization to win Global Championships in both primary and middle school VEX IQ divisions at this championship, achieving full coverage of top honors in this core event.
Teams 7323W, 1933M and 8988P claimed Global Third Place, earning top-tier second-tier honors in the tournament.
STEMSTAR also took a comprehensive lead in division matches and special award categories: Teams 98016B, 3287A, 9296A and 7323W won Division Championships; multiple teams including 937B and 921A were awarded Division Runner-up and Division Third Place respectively.
In terms of special awards: Team 73429A claimed the Overall Championship of the VR Skills Challenge; Team 1512X won the Creative Excellence Award; Teams 9296A and 8988P received the Engineering Design Award; Team 2988A was honored with the Judges’ Award. In the VEX V5RC division, Team 90677A took the Division Runner-up, marking breakthroughs across the two core events and all award tracks.

Notably, STEMSTAR teams took part in all perfect-score matches throughout the event and concluded the championship with a flawless full score in the finals, fully proving their overwhelming strength in technology, tactics and competitive stability.
Thanks to its long-standing influence and outstanding competitive standard in the global STEAM education industry, students from STEMSTAR were specially invited by the official organizing committee of the VEX World Championship to attend the global opening ceremony as core representatives of the Chinese team. This stands as direct and authoritative recognition from the official international VEX community of the brand’s teaching capability and industry standing.
