Recently, as the results of the 6th Yangtze River Delta Youth Artificial Intelligence Olympiad Challenge were successively announced, STEM STARideaLab innovation laboratory students have been reporting frequent successes in multiple high-value youth science and technology innovation competitions. Previously, STEM STAR students also performed impressively in the 2025 "Eaglet Cup" Red Scarf Science and Technology Innovation Talent Exchange and Exhibition Activity. These two competitions, one before the other, covering the entire school year, STEM STAR students have delivered an impressive performance with their solid scientific and technological literacy and outstanding project creativity.

Two major comprehensive evaluation events: backed by authority, with substantial value

The "Eaglet Cup" Red Scarf Science and Technology Innovation Young Talent Exchange and Exhibition Activity is jointly hosted by the Communist Youth League Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and the Shanghai Working Committee of the Young Pioneers. It is organized by several authoritative institutions including the Shanghai Youth Activity Center, Shanghai Natural History Museum, China Welfare Institute Children's Palace, and Shanghai Aerospace Science Popularization Center. It is one of the four core extracurricular activities competitions for the Young Pioneers in Shanghai. The competition is open to students in grades 3 to 9 across the city, with separate primary school and junior high school groups. The competition has been included in the list of science and technology competitions recognized by the comprehensive quality evaluation system for junior high school students in Shanghai. With restrictions on primary school students participating in competitions such as the Youth Innovation Competition and the Soong Ching Ling Children's Invention Award, the Eaglet Cup has become one of the most prestigious science and technology innovation competitions for primary school students.

The "AI Innovator" project of the Yangtze River Delta Youth Artificial Intelligence Olympiad Challenge is equally significant.

The two competitions naturally overlap in time - the Young Eagle Cup typically initiates project applications from September to October each year, while the Yangtze River Delta AI Challenge kicks off in April to May of the following year. A scientific and technological innovation project can apply for both competitions, affording children the opportunity to participate in comprehensive evaluation events twice within a school year.

In the 2025 "Eaglet Cup" Red Scarf Science and Technology Innovation Talent Exchange and Exhibition, STEM STARideaLab students won a total of 140The awardOne nomination for the title of "Young Academician", six first prizes, 31 second prizes, and 48 third prizes, demonstrating exceptional scientific and technological innovation strength.

In the "AI Innovator" project of the 6th Yangtze River Delta Youth Artificial Intelligence Olympiad Challenge, STEM STAR students also performed outstandingly, with a total of34 studentsWith excellent project creativity, fromOver 700 groups of participating projectsStand out and win9 first prize winners, 6 second prize winners, and 19 third prize winners.

In addition to the two aforementioned competitions, STEM STARideaLab students have achieved remarkable success in the 2025 science and technology innovation competition.

In the 21st Soong Ching Ling Children's Invention Award Shanghai Regional Selection, the students won a total of134 awards, accounting for the total number of 714 awards in the city19%Among them, 27 people won the first prize, accounting for the number of first prize winners in the city23.3%.

In the Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition, a total of 376 honors were achieved throughout the year. In 2025, STEM STAR students cumulatively won nearly1600 items.
