For families who wish their children to participate in science and technology innovation projects, there are three issues to consider when choosing competitions:

  1. Does the event possess clear value and prestige?

  2. Is the timing arrangement suitable for the child's continuous preparation or learning cycle?

  3. Can a one-time project investment lead to long-term accumulation of awards?

Based on these three dimensions, we have incorporated the "Eaglet Cup Red Scarf Science and Technology Innovation Young Talent Exchange and Demonstration Activity" and the "AI Innovator" event of the Yangtze River Delta Youth Artificial Intelligence Olympiad Challenge into the same science and technology innovation product service.I believe it can cater to most children who have specific needs for particular competitions.

Official event notice for 2025

For this competition, the school will issue a notice every September, and generally, there is only one week from the notice to the deadline for registrationThe competition focuses on technological innovation practice, project research, and achievement display. Therefore, this summer vacation is very suitable for preparing for the competition that will be announced at the beginning of the school year, and there is also ample time.

The host organization of the event:

Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Working Committee of the Young Pioneers

Why are two competitions suitable for continuous planning?

In addition to being part of the same comprehensive evaluation event, the Young Eagle Cup and the Yangtze River Delta "AI Innovators" also exhibit good continuity in their scheduling.

Refer to the competition schedule of previous years:

The specific time and rules shall be subject to the official notice in 2026.

The two competitions are closely connected, covering a complete school year. Children can apply for the Young Eagle Cup in the second half of the year and continue to apply for the Yangtze River Delta "AI Visionary" in the first half of the following year.

The purpose of planning the two events together is not complicated:

After completing the science and innovation projects and preparing the application materials, applications are submitted according to the requirements of different competitions, providing children with two opportunities to participate in comprehensive evaluation competitions within one academic year.

Compared to preparing for individual events, this arrangement is more focused in terms of time and project investment, and can also improve the efficiency of utilizing existing scientific and technological achievements.

It should be noted that the application rules and material requirements for the two events are not entirely identical, and the specific details still need to be prepared separately in accordance with the official notices of the respective years.

What does one really need to prepare for a science and technology innovation competition?

When officially applying, it is usually necessary to submit more than just one work.

"Eyas Cup involves"Project application form, research report or design description of the work, novelty search report, duplication check report, and process photosThe "AI visionaries" in the Yangtze River Delta region needPrepare project reports, demonstration videos, and presentation slides, and participate in the defense based on the advancement status.

Therefore,For families with clear plans to participate in the competitionThe core issue is not "when to register", but whether it is possible to form a complete project outcome in advance that meets the competition requirements, aligns with the child's cognition, and involves the child's participation.

For families that have not yet made a clear plan to participate in the competitionThere's no need to hastily sign up just for the sake of "adding another experience". You can first assess whether your child is interested in scientific inquiry, programming, or hands-on making, and whether there are specific educational goals that require relevant background experience.

If you only want to experience science and technology learning at this stage, our introductory courses or short-term experiences would be more suitable; once your competition goals become clearer, you can proceed to specialized preparation, and your overall investment will be more aligned. Therefore, this specialized camp is more suitable for children who have already expressed a clear desire to participate in relevant competitions and require support from the results of those competitions.

2026 Young Eagle Cup & Yangtze River Delta Science and Innovation Special Camp

This special camp is centered around two competition cycles, aiming to assist children in completing the entire process from project conception to competition application. The course adopts a concentrated learning mode during the holidays, with no more than 8 students per class.

The course content includes:

Project direction analysis and background research, scheme design and prototype drawing, hardware setup and code debugging, project report compilation, speech expression training, as well as shooting of images, videos, and other competition materials.

After completing the intensive training, the child will develop:

  1. Personalized scientific and technological innovation works

  2. Research report on the topic

  3. Novelty and Duplication Search Report

  4. Project images, videos, and process materials

  5. Application services for the "Eaglet Cup" and the Yangtze River Delta competitions

If there are further opportunities for advancement, corresponding pre-competition debating training will also be arranged.
